Welcome to Serra Mesa, a thriving community in the heart of San Diego, California. Serra Mesa includes the neighborhoods of Mission Village, Birdland, and Abbots Hill, as well as The Village at Serra Mesa in Lincoln Military Housing’s Naval Complex San Diego. Serra Mesa is home to the Rady Children’s Hospital, the Ronald McDonald House of San Diego, Sharp Memorial Hospital, and Sharp Mary Birch Hospital for Women & Newborns, along with the wonderful new Serra Mesa/Kearny Mesa Public Library. Serra Mesa is proud to support our local businesses, which include restaurants, grocery stores, dentists, retail, and other services. More than 23,000 residents live in a variety of single-family homes, apartments, and condominiums in Serra Mesa and enjoy our six elementary schools, Taft Middle School, and plentiful public parks and open space including Ruffin Canyon.
Serra Mesa is bounded to the north by Aero Drive and Montgomery Field airport, to the west by SR-163, to the east by I-15 and the Stonecrest community, and to the south by Friars Road and Mission Valley.

Just a quick notice: this month’s SMCC meeting has been cancelled, and will be held concurrently with the SMPG meeting on November 19th.
